A bowling simulator with odd physics

Trick Shot Bowling isn't really a game where you may easily pull off trick shots, but the strange and rubbery physics the game has means that trick shots may occur by accident. It is more like a bowling simulator with unpredictable physics.

Try to get a strike

Trick Shot Bowling is the same as most bowling games in that the aim is to get a strike. Use your finger and swipe on your screen to direct the ball. Curve your swipe to spin the ball. You may also hook the ball too. The game is free to download and install, but you have to start paying after the fifth frame otherwise you are unable to continue.

Poor controls make the game difficult to master

Trick Shot Bowling doesn't have great controls. You are able to spin your ball and control its direction, but even a slight deviation from what is required will land your ball in the gutter. The ball and pin physics are not realistic, but they are fun because they allow players to exploit luck.

PROS

  • Precision doesn't matter with this game
  • Control the direction and spin of your ball
  • Unlock up to 24 different balls
  • Ball and pin physics are fun

CONS

  • The game is harder to play on smaller touch screens
  • Hooking the ball usually causes a miss
  • Throwing down the middle usually leaves a split
  • Falling pins sound like drums
